Hi Bas,

Yes this looks wrong to me too.  I don't get the behaviour you mention;
instead gnome-terminal seems to be responding after "<compose> <minus>
<minus>" to produce '­', U+00AD SOFT MINUS.  I'm using the en_AU.UTF-8
locale.  Still looks wrong though.
