Bug#320640: totem doesn't work with submount

Unfortunately, submount seems to have fallen out of active
development -- I can't find a release more recent than February 2004,
which doesn't compile against recent kernels.  So, I haven't been
using it, and can't see whether the recent totem changes may have
fixed the problem.
