Bug#381021: gnome-panel: Cannot select custom application launcher icon

Hi,

I can edit the launchers in the gnome-panel applications menu fine. The
new icons show up directly. 

How exactly do you change the icons? AFAIK, the menu editor in GNOME
2.14 does not support changing the icons. (But you can try the menu
editor Alacarte).
