Bug#398373: gnome-applets drivemount: incorrectly claims that USB drive is unmounted during the cache flush

Package: gnome-applets
Version: 2.14.3-1+b1

I use the drivemount applet. I click "unmount" and in a second it
signals the USB device is correctly disconnected. However, the cache is
still being flushed, device LED is blinking, and sync command lasts a
while, until the buffers are REALLY flushed to the device.

This can cause data loss, if the user relies on the applet's claims.

I have USB1.1 on VIA KT133A QDI Kinetiz 7E motherboard (VIA686B). The
bug has been encounetered using two different USB Mass Storage devices.
