Bug#399460: libgtk2.0-0: Obsolete Dialog "File open"

Some gtk programs (only a few) use, for their "File Open" Dialog, window
with 3 graphical Buttons - "Home", "Desktop", "Documents".
The Problem is, that after clean installation of desktop (in my case
xfce) is the last Button "Documents" not accessible. It delivers
"Folder unreadable: No such file or directory".

The solution is to make a symbolic link ~/Documents pointing to your
data. But it is not everyone known.

Where is exactly problem? Are this programs using some obsolete function
for "File open" Dialog? Or should be by the installation of
system or desktop always automatically created also directory ~/Documents?

Examples of this behaviour are e.g. packages seq24, grisbi or timidity.
