Bug#335215: gedit: freeze on save

I can consistently reproduce this defect, however I don't have the .xsession-errors or stacktrace, presumably because I don't have the debugging symbols compiled in.

This happens every time when saving to a directory with a large number of text files ('ls -la | wc -l' gives 894). CPU hits 100% for a good 10 seconds or so when entering a filename in the file save dialog.
