If you are using gstreamer, can you also tell me if
gstreamer0.10-pitfdll is installed. (This is the package that uses
w32codecs for Gstreamer).

What can you tell me about the WMV files that fails, what version are
they? You can use Totem's properties page, or the output from mplayer to
see this.

If possible, it would help if you could make one of these files
available somewhere, perhaps include it in an attachment to the bug
report if it's a small file.
