Hello,

In short, yes, it still happen.
In detail:

to be sure, I make a full update of the system (apt-get update, apt-get
upgrade). Source.list point to testing.
I now have:
gtk2-engines 2.8.2-1,
sylpheed 2.3.0beta5,
gtk2 2.8.20-7,
GLib 2.12.4-2.

Theme change is done through "GTK+ 2.0 theme
switch" (gtk-theme-switch), window manager is fluxbox.

If I select Nuvola or Amarath or Glider or Lush or Wasp theme, sylpheed
did not start and on terminal I get following error message
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (fasttop): 0x081c7958
***
Value after 0x change.

With Debian Red theme, I get:
Gtk-WARNING **: unable to find theme engine in module_path : <<
lighthouseblue>>
but sylpheed start and then works normally.

All other themes works without mistake.

If I launch sylpheed through gdb (nuvola theme), here is the output:

gdb /usr/bin/sylpheed
