Bug#407033: gnome-menus: After upgrade to Etch: Applications menu is empty and never gets populated

Hi,

Loïc Minier gave you some suggestions to try, have you had time to do so
yet? (I'm including the instructions below).

         Could you please report the result of:
         find /usr/share/icons -maxdepth 1 -name icon-theme.cache
        
         Perhaps also run it on other dirs such as /usr/share/pixmaps.
        
         Did you install packages from Ubuntu or "make install" upstream
         packages built from source?
