Well, I run a simple setup without automount stuff. As you see below,
it's also not simple to set up as I didn't found proper documentation
what is required to get gnome-volume-manager working without gnome.

I never heard about ivman yet. Maybe I try it and look if it is better
documented.

I added the user to the plugdev group, did newgrp plugdev, and
restarted g-v-m, without luck. I don't know about the floppy group,
tough.
