I don't have access to that machine right now, but it's whatever
version was in unstable last week.

It's not related to a specific file.  I see this with every pdf I
launched via Firefox.  To test this I just did a search for "pdf" in
google and used the first pdf that came up:

http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf

If I save locally and launch from the command line there is no hang.
If I launch from Firefox it does hang.
