When originally discussing the "new" python policy, it was clear that
such packages wouldn't work unless we were able to expand the
dependencies into all required python versions. For example your package
should have had such dependencies:
	Depends: python-gobject, python2.4-gobject, python2.5-gobject

Unfortunately there is no way currently to generate such dependencies.
