This is certainly related to pango (as shows disabling pango in
iceweasel) and most probably related to the pango-libthai package. 

You should repeat the operation (obtaining a backtrace) with
libpango1.0-0-dbg installed, and with a debugging version of
pango-libthai (built with DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="noopt nostrip").
