Bug#412373: gnome-screensaver: screensaver starts after being idle for about 20 minutes although it has been set to 2 hours

I have set the gnome-power-manager to never go to sleep, and never blank
the screen, gnoem-screensaver is set to to go on after 2 hours of idle
time (actually it can not be set to "never"), nevertheless, the
screensaver starts after about 20 minutes of idle time. Bug severity is
important: you may for instance not deactivate it while watching a
movie, or cannot use the machine to play a video that loops all day
long.
the bug appears also on another architecture (sid,AMD64).
