Hi,

Thank you for providing this information. I now managed to find the
corresponding upstream bug, see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356052

This issue seems to have been resolved in 2.17, but with no info too
what caused the problem in the first place.

If you are interested, maybe you could compare the slideshow code in
2.14 (or 2.16) to 2.17 and track down the specific changes.
