To reproduce it, you need to run etch, mark etch as preferred
distribution, add unstable to sources.list and pin qemu to mark the sid
version as preferred (pin-priority > 990).

The packages in question weren't even installed, but they were proposed
for installation because the newer qemu needs them even though that newer
qemu was not selected for installation precisely because it would require
new installations or removals. :-)
