That assumption is that the widget must call
gtk_im_context_filter_keypress() with event->state cleared
on corresponding bits for unpressed modifier keys. Is that
unwarranted? :-/

However, oddly enough, I added the patch back to debug it.
The bug does not come back again!!

So, I reverted to the official deb. It's completely gone!!

Let me try to reproduce it again. I'm not sure what happened
during the tests that made it gone.
