Hi,

There's a similar report about duplex printing problems with
libgnomeprint (and evince), 416213, but I'm not really sure if it's the
same issue. I gave him the same advice to upgrade libgnomeprint, but it
doesn't seem to work too well with evince. 

Before I forward this bug upstream, do you want to upgrade to evince in
experimental and see if gtk-print have the same problems with duplex
printing? 

It would also be great if you could give details about your CUPS
configuration.
