Dunno what happened but Evince now can print using the libgnomeprint version
from Experimental.

And yes, Evince is able to duplex print if I do the setting via CUPS.

So less GNOME dependencies for Evince? Great to hear that.

I promised myself to wait at least for another week until Etch’s release. Then
the bulk of packages from Experimental should flow into Unstable. At the moment
installing GTK 2.10 would remove Claws Mail and some GTK engines. (But at least
not GIMP anymore.) Can’t wait to lay my hands on Xfce 4.4.
