Bug#353973: gossip-telepathy: /me too, providing extra messages

Hi,

I have the same problem. I even removed $HOME/.gnome2*/Gossip and
started afresh, but it still fails to connect.
Here are the messages at startup:

And here is the message when I try to manually connect the new account:
