Bug#469414: #469414 init script failure

I've had this same problem on unstable/amd64.  The workaround of
stopping system-tools-backends worked. Here's a somewhat daft

[root at vasudeva /home/jbm]# apt-get install beagle
Reading package lists... Done

...

Setting up system-tools-backends (2.4.2-1) ...
Starting System Tools Backends: system-tools-backendsinvoke-rc.d:
initscript system-tools-backends, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing system-tools-backends (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

 system-tools-backends

[root at vasudeva /home/jbm]# /etc/init.d/system-tools-backends stop

[root at vasudeva /home/jbm]# apt-get install beagle

beagle is already the newest version.
