I would happily do that if su-to-root was made to be able to use ktsuss
as an alternative. Currently it is not possible to use it this way.

BTW, system-config-printer already depends on python-gnome2 which
already depends on libgconf (which is far from being the heaviest) and
many other GNOME libraries.
