Hi Josselin,

I don't have that usb stick anymore (wasn't mine) but I tested it with a
vfat formated usb disk right now and I don't see that behaviour here...
I don't think the usb stick that time was broken as copying with an
xterm worked. No idea what happened / changed since then.
But the issue with ext3 formated disks still is the same:

$ mount|grep max
/dev/dm-0 on /media/maxtor_3sec type ext3 (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=hal)
$ touch /media/maxtor_3sec/test
$ ls -la /media/maxtor_3sec/
insgesamt 24
drwxrwxrwx 3 root     root      4096 31. Aug 02:07 .
drwxr-xr-x 6 root     root      4096 31. Aug 02:05 ..
drwx------ 2 root     root     16384 31. Aug 02:02 lost+found
-rw-r--r-- 1 mschmitt mschmitt     0 31. Aug 02:07 test

and still not able to delete the file "test" or create a subfolder there
with the nautilus right-click context menu.

regards
Michael
