Bug#507893: gdm: Doesn't power off after halt

If I click Halt in a session manager, the PC shuts down, but the power
stays on at the end of the shutdown sequence. If I run 'halt -p' from a
command line the system does power down correctly, so gdm is my prime
suspect at the moment.
