Sure.

I know but franckly this is the most annoying bug I have got for years
on debian (except telmporary breakckage like X does no more start or
unresolved symbols in a critical library) and I'm running experimental
and KD2 4.2 UNREALEASED so yes I'm quite accustom to breakage.

But here I've been hunting the bug for days spending several hours in
the debugger and I'm treated as if I was an idiot. My view is :
	1) I reported a bug
	2) provided an easy way to reproduce it (except the package version)

I reported in a previous message that using UTF8 like fr_FR.UT8 or
en_IE.UTF8 the bug is still there. So I'm afraid the analysis is not
over! For the matter and feel free to tell it to d-i people, using the
d-i for the next release installing with french locales (keyboord and
currency) you get by default LANG => fr_FR at euro. No UTF8 unless it is an
alias.

Sure I even wrote that some line upper but this bug is present from the
beginning and I see no fix coming.

Downgrading is totally impossible if you want to use KDE4. I would not
have switch to experimental if KDE4 was available in unstable. Problem
is that with the freeeze, nothing moves even in unstable!
