Bug#463413: Probably not a gnome-system-monitor bug

I face the same bug with gnome-system-monitor, but mkvmerge fail the
same way (I have try many different video inputs, with the same effect):

dobby at localhost:~$ mkvmerge 24.1x24.avi video.mkv
mkvmerge: symbol lookup error: mkvmerge: undefined symbol:
_ZN7pcrecpp6no_argE

A precision : this bug occurs even if Gnome is not running (I tried in
single-user mode). 

When I use the mkvmerge-gui it fails when I try to add a video file,
with the same message plus this :
"File identification failed for '/home/dobby/24.1x24.avi'. Return code:
127".
