Hi Paul, thanks a lot for the patch... honestly I have not had the time to look
at it yet, but I wanted to make you aware that we are currently revamping the
printing code to port it to GtkPrint.
The work in progress is available in the "printing" svn branch of gtksourceview
and gedit: it's still pretty rough at the moment, but any work in this area
needs to be done in this new context.
