Neither can I.
What I had in common with the other (Ubuntu) users that reported this problem was that, after a new system installation, I copied my old nautilus settings back. So I did a complete install once more and did not touch the settings (other than through nautilus itself). The problem is gone now.

Spam filters? Really? How useful.
And what about some nifty software that would allow other useful functionality without actually exposing email address to harvesters?

But seriously: Don't be so patronizing and I won't be so cynical. It is a problem that can easily be solved.
