Bug#488802: Closes on cutting text

Hi,

When I cut text (from the search box, for example), using CTRL+X, devhelp
simply closes itself, with error code 0. The text selected at the time
is not put in the clipboard. This almost feels like it is a feature, but
doesn't actually do anything! :-)

This may be related to #485644.
