Hi, im suffering the same problem with another integrated AC97 soundcard. Its an Multimedia audio controller: ALi Corporation M5455 PCI AC-Link Controller Audio Device (rev 20) It uses the same snd_intel8x0 module so maybe gnome-applets its having some issues with THAT one. Regards,
