Bug#479012: gnome-panel: please choose another separator than '/' between wind direction and velocity (use a comma instead)

Package: gnome-panel
Version: 2.22.1.3-2
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

in the mouse-over area of the weather-applet both wind direction and
velocity are shown. Both values are separated by a slash '/', which
looks ugly, because there is allready a slash in the velocity unit
'm/s'. This results in something like "Süd bis Südwest /3,6 m/s" (in
German).

For the sake of consistency, please change the slash into a comma as
is used to separate the real temperature from the windchill factor.
The separator between sunrise and sunset should be changed to be a
comma as well.

Of course this is about personal affection, but I believe a slash in a
user-interface is half-assed practice.

Cheers,
Fabian
