It sounds exactly like this upstream bug,

But it should have been fixed. I wonder if it is an arch dependent bug,
I'm on i386, and it works fine for me. It would be great if someones
else on amd64 could try to reproduce the bug.

I don't think this problem has anything to do with configuration issues.
