This may sound surprising, but ARJ and ACE are formats that are still
used nowadays. As for RPM, I’ll let you search around the web for a
while and see if you don’t find any.

In all cases it is a difficult question whether to remove them, since
the .desktop file lists all these formats as being supported by
file-roller, and not installing the backend program results in an error
message when you double-click a .arj or .rpm file.
