Bug#498169: dasher: does not work: start and does nothing (ppc).

The program does not work at all. The window displayed stay completely 
immobile. Changing alphabet works (only through preference dialog), but 
is very very slow. and clicking or moving mouse on the window does 
absolutely nothing.
