Actually, you can add a playlist with the .pls as address, and it will
work as you expect.

The problem comes again from mozilla, which downloads a local copy of
the .pls and passes it to rhythmbox, instead of passing it the remote
URL, despite rhythmbox.desktop claiming to support URIs.
