Bug#522941: Sound-Juicer displays file extensions in the "Output Format" box -- which is IMHO pointless

Package: sound-juicer
Version: 2.24.0-2
Severity: minor

Hi,

in the "Output Format" box in the Preferences window, Sound-Juicer
displays a file extension next to each codec in the list. File
extensions are completely pointless IMHO, the codecs actually have
*names*. If you want to make clear that Ogg Vorbis hides behind "CD
Quality, Lossy", please call the codec by its name. The added string
".oga type" doesn't tell me anything.

So please change

CD Quality, Lossless (.flac type) -> CD Quality, Lossy (FLAC)
CD Quality, Lossy (.oga type) -> CD Quality, Lossy (Ogg Vorbis)
Voice, Lossless (.wav type) -> CD Quality, Lossy (WAV)
Voice, Lossy (.spx type) -> CD Quality, Lossy (Speex)

or similar.

NB: I think this "feature" is rather new, because I haven't seen it
before. I cannot tell when it has been added, though, because I don't
use Sound-juicer that often.

NB2: This issue doesn't seem to be restricted to Sound-Juicer, since I
have also seen it in (at least) Rhythmbox. Please reassign this bug
report if appropriate.

Thanks,
Fabian
