Bug#525065: gnome-screensaver: extremely slow unlock dialog

Does it also happen if you remove thinkfinger from your PAM
configuration?

Are there any relevant messages in /var/log/auth.log ? If not, you can
try killing gnome-screensaver and running it with --debug --no-daemon.
