The X server, which is a modified version of Xorg, runs on a Sun. No
xorg.conf is necessary and it does not exist.

console-setup neither is installed on the server nor on the client. Is
there any relationship between X and console-setup?

When I try to do that by starting gnome-keyboard-properties, I get an
error message:
"Unable to start gnome-settings-daemon"
