Actually, this is not true.

After rebooting the machine (or maybe after some other action, we
aren't really sure), the /etc/group file was broken.  LDAP users had
disappeared from the group file, but local or unexistant (old) users,
were still there.

It looks like users-admin is doing something really weird about the
group file, that doesn't turn up immediately.
