I bet this is a problem with EggTrayIcon. I've checked gmail-notify and gajim
and both use it (gmail-notify through the python bindings) so I'll assume I'm
right :)

Since the egg code is used directly from the packages and there's no Debian
package, but there is a python-eggtrayicon, I'm reassigning this bug to it.

When I have the time I'll report bugs against packages using EggTrayIcon asking
them to switch to GtkStatusIcon.

Cheers,
Emilio
