What package would function as a OSS emulation layer for Debian

Of course, if gnome-desktop-environment will depend libesd-alsa0, and 
hopefully the bugs in unstable for sound are resolved, then my current 
concerns do not matter as the sound environment will be greatly changed.

Thanks for your replies, I will wait until Lenny progresses to stable.

If I can help in testing lenny's sound at any stage, please let me know.
