Bug#516092: gnome-applets: gnome-keyboard-applet broken in sid

hi again,

just to add a little more,

i rebuilt the package in an up-to-date sid env and saw no difference.

however, i noticed that if one right-clicks on the country indicator
and selects groups->($country) it will switch between layouts, though
it does not update the displayed country indicator. i.e. selecting
groups->SWE switches back to swedish layout, but the indicator will still
say USA.
