Bug#536757: gvfs-backends: "invalid argument" when trying to copy file from smb share

when I try to copy a file from an smb share mounted by gfvs (which fuse-utils
and gvfs-fuse installed and the share being accessible under ~/.gvfs), copying
fails, returning "invalid argument".  (but no further details)

I can browse the directories on the server, I can delete and rename files on
the server, however, I cannot read the contents of files.

When I log on to the server using smbclient, everything works just fine. The
same is true for mounting the share with cifsmount.

Other gvfs file systems seem to be unaffected, I can read files on a
(authenticated) ftp mount.
