Hi,

When examining my .xsession.errors I see this:

** (gnome-settings-daemon:3120): WARNING **: Failed to open file
'/etc/gnome/config/General.ad': No such file or directory
Window manager warning: Failed to read saved session file
/home/candres/.metacity/sessions/default0.ms: Failed to open file
'/home/candres/.metacity/sessions/default0.ms': No such file or directory

I have the capplets-data package installed:

$ aptitude search capplets-data
i   capplets-data                   - configuration applets for GNOME 2

Debian Lenny 5.0.2 gnome amd64
