Bug#533037: gnome-terminal: Incorrectly positions cursor when printing to lower right corner

Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 2.22.3-3
Severity: minor

First of all, I'm not sure if this bug is in gnome-terminal or really in
some other package. Please reassign if needed.

When running aptitude in gnome-terminal, many of the progress counters
in the lower right corner (which should be counting from 0 to 100%) are
shifted one character, probably because of the strange cursor handling
that the lower right corner needs (delayed scrolling). Some numbers are
correctly printed, but some are shifted one character to the right, so
it looks something like this (through time):
  0%
 10%
 120
 130
This assumes that it should have been counting in steps of 10%.

Thanks,
Bas Wijnen
