Bug#519295: Glade3 renames widgets which have same id

Version: 3.4.5-3

There's a very nasty bug in glade3, that might cause lots of programs
with interfaces created with glade2 to stop working.

The problem is that even though it's not a problem to have two widgets
with the same name, as long as they are in different windows, glade3
decides to rename them, so that this never happens.

This was fixed by upstream in revision 1972 of the svn. This change,
although done in October 2008, hasn't yet been released in any glade
releases.

I tried to extract a patch from the revision diff (attached), but I
couldn't get it to apply cleanly, not for the stable version (3.4.5),
not for the experimental version (3.5.2), not even for the latest
glade release (3.5.7).

I'm not sure what the solution for this is, since the patch is way too
much to be included in Lenny, but this problem really makes glade3
unusable for users with files generated by glade2.

I've been using vi for my changes these past weeks, but it was only
minor changes, I need to redefine a couple of interfaces now, and it
looks like I'll have to do it with an Etch installation :-\
