Bug#521032: "Open with Other Application" blocks for a long time

Severity: normal

If I select a file, right-click and choose "Open with Other
Application", the UI blocks up for as long as 20 seconds. I presume
nautilus is searching for other appropriate applications to open the
file in, but some kind of feedback would be lovely.
