OK, thanks. Beware that pinging can still work when the machine is
crashed, so it would be nice if you could try to SSH on it.

I mean the X driver, not the GL library. It is the "Driver" line
in /etc/X11/xorg.conf. If there is no such line, please show the model
of your graphics card (lspci | grep VGA).
