What is the output of the following command? Does it succeed in
configuring your keyboard layout?
	setxkbmap -rules evdev -model apple_laptop -layout us -variant mac -option compose:rwin,eurosign:e,apple:goodmap,lv3:enter_switch,compose:rwin -print | xkbcomp - :0
