I’ve already considered splitting some of the libraries in libgtk2.0-*
in separate packages, but this is interesting only if there is a real
gain in doing this. I don’t think icewm alone is enough of a
justification to split this library.

If you’re really interested in it, could you conduct an archive-wide
study listing packages that would benefit from the splitting?
